Terms of Use

1. Acceptance
By creating an account, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Witness.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old. You must be capable of entering binding agreements where you live.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account. Keep your phone secure. We use phone-OTP for authentication; if you lose your phone number, contact support@stalwartcrest.com.
4. The pairing model
A Witness pair is exactly two people. Both must consent to the pair. Either may unpair at any time, after which sealed history is preserved as read-only.
5. What a Witness record is — and isn’t
Witness records are personal records of mutual agreement between two specific people. Witness, Stalwart Crest, Inc., and its affiliates make no representation that any record produced by this app is admissible as evidence in any court of law, regulatory proceeding, or formal arbitration. Use of Witness records in any legal context is at the users’ sole discretion and risk.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Witness for harassment, illegal activity, content that sexualizes minors, impersonation, or to coordinate harm to any person. We will terminate accounts used for these purposes.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, sealed entries you authored remain in pair records, attributed to a deleted user.
8. Limitation of liability
Witness is provided “as is.” Stalwart Crest, Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Witness. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid for Witness in the last twelve months.
